Twin Acres Campground
There are 15 acres with 200 campsites and a recreation hall.
We also have a small store on-site for the basics, there are 3 grocery stores and several
carry-outs within 5 to 10 minutes from us. There is also a small kitchen where we'll make a
pizza, sub, salad and other foods and even deliver it to your campsite for you. If you want a
hand dipped ice cream cone or bowl of ice cream, we have that too.
We will even fill your propane tank for you.
There are showers and rest rooms near the office and a dump station available.
For fun and relaxation we have a pond where you and your family can swim or go fishing, a top
notch horseshoe pit, a volley ball court, a basketball court and a Children's playground.
Every site has a fire ring and a picnic table.
Many people bring their bicycles and you can find them riding around the campground just
enjoying the day and the ride.
If you like hiking or just plain walking on trails, Oak Openings Metro Park is directly across the
street and part of the Maumee State Forest is next door. OAK OPENINGS HAS ADDED A NEW
TRAIL FOR US DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET! SIMPLY WALK YOUR BIKE A FEW SHORT
YARDS AND IT CONNECTS TO THE BIKE TRAILS IN THE PARK! IT IS A BEAUTIFUL RIDE
AND WE ARE SO HAPPY TO HAVE IT SO CLOSE! WE ARE ALSO VERY CLOSE TO THE
WABASH CANNONBALL TRAIL FOR HIKING AND BIKING.
Come! Relax! Enjoy spending time with your family!!!!!
